Kathryn Marsh is the Deputy State’s Attorney.  Ms. Marsh graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  Ms. Marsh began working for the State's Attorney's Office in 1998 as a Victim/Witness Advocate in a partnership with the Crisis Intervention Center. She became the Office's Victim/Witness Coordinator while attending law school in the evenings at the University of Baltimore. Upon graduating with honors in 2002, Ms. Marsh was sworn in as an Assistant State's Attorney. Ms. Marsh began prosecuting juvenile cases and discovered an affinity with working with children. Over the next several years she continued to prosecute a variety of felony cases to include burglaries, drugs, robberies, elder abuse, white collar crime and Post Conviction cases while receiving specialized training in Homicides, Child Abuse, Sex Offenses and Child Exploitation.  In addition, she attended the Harvard Associates Homicide School and Executive Prosecutor School. Ms. Marsh now prosecutes the County's homicides, sex offenses, child abuse and exploitation cases and elder abuse cases.
